Placing an Order

How do I find the items I want?

There are two ways to locate items on the eStarland.com.

1. Browse

  • a. Drop-down menu: The easiest way to access all products and services offered

  • b. Site Navigation Bar - Platforms & Categories: To explorer products in category level

  • c. Feature Pages: Coming Soon, Pre-owned, Imports, Merchandise and Services

2. Site Search: Site search is located on the top of every page.

How do I select an item for purchase?

Once you have found the products you want. You can add them to your shopping cart until you are ready to check out by selecting "Checkout” button.

How do I view the contents of my shopping cart?

Total number of items and amount are displayed on the top menu bar and you also can view more details by clicking the shopping cart icon.

How do I remove an item from my Shopping Cart?

From your Shopping Cart page, you can select items to be removed and then click on “UPDATE” button at the bottom right- hand side of the list. The selected items will be removed from your shopping cart.

How do I change the number of items I want to purchase?

You can remove or change the number of items from your shopping cart.

Checking Out

How do I check out?

When you are ready to place an order, you can access to our single page secured checkout system from your shopping cart and follow easy to understand the process. If you are new or a registered customer but not logged in, you will be prompted to log in or create a new account. You also can use our convenient "Guest Checkout" system if you decide not to register.

Once you have placed an order with us, you will receive an order confirmation email from eStarland.com. If for any reasons, you do not find our email order confirmation, please check your email spam folder. We sometimes have problems emailing certain ISPs such as AOL and Comcast. To insure you get emails from eStarland, please add the email address: link to support to the Contacts or Address book section of your email program.

Payment Options

What are my payment options?

eStarland will accept the following forms of payment:

  • US Customer: All Major Credit Cards, Paypal, Store Credit, Checks, Money Orders, or In Store payment.

  • Canadian Customer: All Major Credit Cards, Paypal (International Verified Payment Only), or Store Credit.

  • Other Countries: Paypal (International Verified Payment Only), Address verified credit card payment or Store Credit.

Which credit cards do you accept?

eStarland accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit cards.

In the event you are notified to provide further address verification please fill out the following form and fax or email it along with a one of the following official documents.

What is Paypal?

Paypal is an internet based payment system that allows for secure payments between two parties. The payments are made from credit cards or bank accounts and can be made by anybody with an e- mail address. What if I want to pay by check or money order?

If you would like to pay by check or money order, select the option when you are checking out. You will then be prompted to print out a copy of your order sheet. If you cannot print out your order sheet, please send your payment with your name, address, phone number, e-mail, and order number. After you have done this, please enclose this information with a check or money order for your total amount made out to Starland. Then please send these items to

Please note that because you must send us your payment, check and money order transactions take slightly longer to process. Checks may require up to two weeks because they must be held until they clear.

How do I use my Gift Certificate?

  • 1: After verifying the items in your cart, proceed to the Checkout page.

  • 2: Under the "Payment & Order" section, find the "Use a Gift Certificate" section and type the activation code.

  • 3: Click "Add," and the amount of the Gift Certificate will be deducted from your order.

Sales Tax

Under Virginia state law, eStarland is required to collect a 6% sales tax on all orders shipped to locations within the Commonwealth of Virginia. No sales tax will be collected for the amount paid by store Credit.

Coupons

How do I use my Coupon?

  • 1: Go to the Shopping Cart page.

  • 2: Type the coupons promocode in the "Add Promo Code" section to add.

  • 3: Click "UPDATE" to verify your discount.

Restrictions

eStarland may restrict the use of coupons or other discounts for certain types or amounts of products during certain time periods or based on other factors determined by eStarland. Each eStarland coupon is identified by a code and has different requirements and rewards. Any such restrictions will be disclosed on the coupon itself or on our Web site. All requirements must be met to receive coupon rewards or discounts. Recipient must reside in the United States, its territories, or have an APO/FPO U.S. Military address.

First-time customer coupons are valid on your first-ever purchase at eStarland only. If you wish to return an item that was purchased with a coupon, you will be credited only for the amount you paid.

If you are unable to use the coupon or you experience an error while using it, please e-mail us at link to support . Be sure to include the number of your gift certificate or coupon.

Store Credit

If merchandise is traded in through Instant or Standard Credit, you are credited for the total amount of the merchandise traded in. This credit, once in the system, can be used for any order, the same as a cash payment. Any credit that you have with the store will be kept on record until it is used. You can view the amount of credit you have under your account details.

Return Policy (US Customers Only)

In order to return merchandise purchased at eStarland you must first contact us through Live Support or e-mail to receive a Return Authorization Number. When you send your merchandise, please include a copy of your receipt and this number. Returns will not be accepted without a Return Authorization Number . eStarland will only accept returns of defective or improperly shipped merchandise. When returning unopened products, you must contact us within 7 days of receipt; we will not be able to accept returns for unopened products after 7 days of receipt. No other returns will be accepted. Any manuals, accessories, or pack-ins included with returned item must be included. If the item was new, it must still be factory sealed to be accepted for return. Any merchandise that does not meet these guidelines will not accept it and eStarland cannot be held responsible for return shipping costs.

To return or exchange an item, please contact our support team first for an Return Authorization Number. Once you have the Return Authorization Number they will provide you with one of the following ways to return or exchange your item(s):

1) Ship the Merchandise Using USPS

If our support staff asks you to ship the product back to us, take the item to your local post office and ship it out via the most economical method which may include USPS Media Mail. Shipping reimbursements will be calculated based on the USPS Media Mail rate and issued through store credit. Once we receive your return, we will return or exchange the product as agreed with our support staff.

2) Ship the Merchandise Using UPS

If our support staff asks you to return the merchandise back UPS, we will provide a UPS Label by regular mail or e-mail. Once you receive or print the UPS Return Label you can place the merchandise you are returning or exchanging in a box and place the label on the box. When the merchandise is ready to be returned you can drop off the box at any UPS Drop-off location. To find drop-off locations please visit this site:

Please note that we will only provide the UPS Return Label on specific orders, please contact our support team to see if your return/exchange will qualify for a return label.

For new games, the manufacturer of the product offers a 90 day guarantee. Within the first 30 days, new items that fit into the return policy may be returned to eStarland after a RMA has been issued. After the first 30 days, the manufacturer of the product must be contacted for a return.

All used products including games, Anime DVDs, accessories and systems come with a 90 day guarantee by eStarland unless otherwise specified.

Once a RMA has been issued, it will be valid for 30 days. If eStarland does not receive the return within 30 days of the RMA being issued, the return order will be canceled and any items returned to us will be refused.

After a RMA has been canceled after 30 days, another RMA cannot be issued for the same product.

eStarland only accepts returns/exchanges under the following conditions :

  • All merchandise must be in its original packaging and must include all manuals and accessories.

  • Any new products being returned must be factory sealed.

  • Any used products being returned that are not defective must be in the original shrinkwrapping.

  • Merchandise that is defective will only be accepted for return within 90 days of delivery.

  • If a game or DVD is defective, we will exchange it for another copy of the same item only.

  • Merchandise that was received due to clerical error on the part of eStarland.

  • Repair/Service parts can only be exchanged for the same product.

  • When returning unopened products, you must contact us within 7 days of receipt; we will not be able to accept returns for unopened products after 7 days of receipt.

  • If there is a discrepancy in your order when you receive your package please contact us within 7 days of receipt; after 7 days, we will consider your package to have included everything ordered.

  • Items must be return within 30 days of being issued a RMA.

  • Any non-defective item return may be subject to a 15% restock fee.

Items returned that do not meet the above conditions or are returned without a RMA may be subjected to a 15% restocking fee.

Problems with your Order?

We at eStarland strive to have trouble free ordering and great customer service. Unfortunately problems still occur, here are the most common problem questions we get:

Received the wrong item(s)?
  • Contact us for a Return Authorization Number

  • If we are unable to provide you with a prepaid shipping label:

    • Go to your local post office and ship the item(s) via you received via USPS Media Mail to eStarland

    • Once we receive the item(s) you returned, we will exchange it for the item(s) you originally order and reimburse you for the return postage.

  • If we did provide you with a prepaid shipping label:

    • Place the item(s) you received in the box you originally received them in and place the prepaid shipping label on the box.

    • Drop off the package at the appropriate location, if it was a USPS, drop it off at your local post office or hand it to your local mail carrier. If it was a UPS package, drop it off at a UPS drop off box.

    • Once we receive the item(s) you are returning, we will exchange it for the item(s) you originally order.

Ordered the wrong item(s)!
  • If you haven’t receive a “Your order has been shipped email:”

    • Please contact us and request to have your order changed to the product you originally intended to order.

  • If your order has already been shipped:

    • Contact us for a Return Authorization number

    • Go to your local post office and ship the item(s) via you received via USPS Media Mail to eStarland

    • Once we receive them item(s), we will exchange it for the correct item and charge you a 15% restock fee for the item(s) returned.

The item(s) I ordered were damaged

Please contact us and describe the damages done to the product and box it was received in. Because of the nature of the problem, our support team will inform you from there. We suggest that you keep all packaging and shipping materials in case it is needed in the future.

No confirmation email received.

Log into your account to verify you have an order under your name. If you don’t, please place the order again. If you have placed an order, please contact us to make sure everything is fine with your order.

We sometimes have problems sending emails to certain ISPs such as Comcast and AOL. To ensure you get emails from eStarland, please add link to support to your Contacts / Address book.

Received a different amount of credit than originally quoted?

Sometimes we are unable to give you the amount of credit originally quoted because the trade-ins may not meet our specifications. When an item(s) does not meet our specifications, we email you with the problem and the item(s). If you have not receive an email from us, read the question “I haven’t received an order confirmation email or any emails from eStarland” above and contact us.

?Como encuentro los articulos que quiero comprar?

Hay dos formas de encontrar los articulos en el sitio (site) de eStarland. Una de las formas es haciendo un click en la seccion apropiada en las barras de navegacion que estan arriba a mano izquierda de la pantalla. Los productos estan en orden de acuerdo a la clasificacion del juego al lado de mano izquierda de la pantalla. Las plataformas (clasificaciones) actuales estan primero. Cuando click las plataformas actuales, te llevaran a la plataforma principal, la cual exhibe nuevos y proximos lanzamientos, asi como titulos populares. La barra de navegacion tambien exhibira todas las categorias de juegos, asi como enlaces a la pagina de accesorios y equipo (hardware). Los juegos son clasificados por genero con categorias para los juegos usados (semi-nuevos) y juegos importados.

El segundo metodo es utilizar el area de busqueda situado arriba en la pantalla. La busqueda se puede refinar con el menu (pull down) tiron abajo a la derecha del area de busqueda. Es posible buscar juegos nuevos, usados o importados, asi como productos Anime, productos canjeados (semi-usados) baratos y servicios ofrecidos por eStarland.

Haz un click en cualquier conexion y te llevara a una lista de productos. Dentro de la misma lista de productos, los articulos se pueden clasificar con los filtros situados en el frente de la pagina principal. Los juegos pueden ser vistos segun su disponibilidad. ESRB clasificados, primera letra del titulo, precio del producto o condicion (nuevos o usados). Si un filtro esta disponible para un producto especifico, sera exhibido en blanco. Los filtros que no estan disponibles se exhibiran en rojo. Colocando el (cursor) la barrita sobre una categoria, una lista de opciones para ese filtro sera exhibida. Haz un click en las opciones, la lista de productos sera exhibida segun el filtro.

?Como selecciono el articulo para comprar?

Una vez que hayas encontrado el articulo que quieres comprar hojeando o usando nuestro sistema de busqueda, ir a la pagina de descripcion de los productos. Ahi Puedes ver los detalles, precio del producto y seleccionar entre juegos nuevos o copias usadas (si estan disponibles). Haz un click donde dice “agregar al carrito” que esta al lado del producto que quieres. Entonces el articulo sera agregado a tu carrito de compras, que sera exhibido despues de que selecciones un articulo. En esta pagina, puedes ver que articulo has seleccionado, y un subtotal actual de los precios (envio no incluido). Puedes entonces continuar hojeando haciendo un click donde dice “continue shopping” continuar las compras o finalizar tu orden haciendo un click donde dice proceder a salir “Proceed to Checkout”.

?Como veo el contenido de mi carrito de compras?

Para ver los articulos que has seleccionado, haz un click en el icono “my cart” mi carrito situado arriba en el frente de la pagina. Te llevaran a una pantalla que demuestra los detalles de tu orden, incluyendo los precios individuales de los articulos, la cantidad seleccionada y la condicion del articulo. En esta pagina puedes tambien quitar articulos individuales de tu carrito, cambiar la cantidad que compraras o vaciar el carrito completamente.

?Como quito un articulo de mi carrito de compras??

Para ver el contenido de tu carrito de compras haz click en el icono mi carrito “my cart”. Cuando se exhibe la pagina del carrito de compras, localiza los articulos que deseas quitar en la lista mostrada en el frente de la pagina. En la columna a mano derecha hay una cajita que dice “delete” borrar haz click en la cajita al lado del articulo apropiado para seleccionarlo, despues haz click en el icono rojo “delete” borrar en el lado derecho de la lista. Los articulos seleccionados seran removidos de tu carrito de compras.

?Como cambio el numero de articulos que quiero comprar?

Hay dos metodos para cambiar la cantidad de articulos pedidos, dependiendo de si el producto es nuevo o usado. Para cambiar la cantidad de articulos nuevos que deseas comprar ir a tu carrito de compras haz click en el icono mi carrito (my cart) cuando te llevan a tu carrito de compras, encuentra el articulo que deseas cambiar la cantidad. Haz click en la columna al lado de el precio y haz click en el numero “qty”. Presiona la tecla de retroceso para borrar la cantidad actual en la cajita. Entonces escribe adentro de la cajita la cantidad que deseas comprar y haz click en el boton azul actualizar “update” en la parte inferior de la lista. Tu carrito de compras entonces pondra al dia la cantidad y calculara nuevamente el subtotal del articulo seleccionado. Para comprar copias adicionales de un articulo usado, volver a la pagina de descripciones del articulo y seleccionar el icono agregar a mi carrito de compras “add to my cart” otra vez. Puesto que los articulos usados son unicos deben de ser incorporados en tu carrito de compras individualmente.

?Como finalizo la compra?

Haz click en el incono mi carrito “my cart” para que te lleve a tu carrito de compras. Una vez que estas alli, verifica que todos los articulos y cantidades en tu carrito esten correctos. Luego haz click en el boton anaranjado “checkout” finalizando en la parte inferior de la lista de articulos. Si todavia no estas en tu cuenta de eStarland, te invitaran a abrir una sesion o crear una nueva cuenta. Una ves que has hecho esto te llevaran a la pantalla de comprobacion. Completa la informacion necesaria y tu orden sera procesada tan pronto como sea posible.

Una ves que has puesto una orden con nosotros, recibiras varios emails (correo electronico) de eStarland verificando tu cuenta y orden. A veces tenemos problemas al enviar correos electronicos a ciertos ISP’s tales como AOL y Earthlink.
