Common Issues include:
• Console does not display an image, or displays a distorted image.
• System struggles to power on, or randomly powers off.
• Console does not turn on at all.
• Video display is noticeably shaky.
• Video display is also noticeably darkened.

The original Xbox were notorious for having clock capacitors that were prone to leaking, breaking, and causing permanent damage to the motherboard.
NOTE: for v1.6 models, a functioning clock capacitor is required to boot the system. For these systems, a clock capacitor replacement is mandatory during the console's life cycle.
