Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the original Neo Geo AES, the Limited Edition Neo Geo X Gold system was released worldwide on December 18, 2012. The set included the Neo Geo X Handheld which came with 20 preloaded games, the Neo Geo X Station that functioned as a docking station for the handheld, and a Neo Geo X Arcade Stick. A Neo Geo X game card of Ninja Master's was included as a bonus.
