Invaded by aliens, Edo-era Japan has been transformed, and the people eke out a new life under alien occupation in the anime, Gintama.
A police force has arisen, the Shinsengumi, and one of its operatives is Okitai Sougo. Though he's adept with a sword, he much prefers to go into battle with his alien bazooka.
