Immensely popular from its original release to the present day, Pac-Man is considered one of the classics of the medium, virtually synonymous with video games, and an icon of 1980s popular culture. The player controls Pac-Man through a blue maze, eating pellets and fruit. But he has to avoid 4 ghosts, which will cost a life if one is touch. Pac-Man can only turn the tables on them by eating one of the power pellets near the corners of the map. When all pellets are eaten, Pac-Man is taken to the next stage.
In 1982, Coleco released a series of 4 Mini-Arcade games, a series of licensed arcade titles. More than 3 million units sold in the first year, leading to the release of three additional units.
