Cat in the Hat (Playstation)

Who's that knocking on the door with a crew of crazy creatures? It's DR. SEUSS' THE CAT IN THE HAT for the PSX. New Kids Co. has captured all of the humor and zany adventures of one of Dr. Seuss' most well known characters in this great game for children.

Young Conrad, a normal boy, finds himself drawn into the wacky adventures of the Cat when his neighbor Mr. Quinn convinces the boy to open the Cat's magical box. When he does, the Seussian magic within is released and scattered across the world. Now, it's up to the Cat, Conrad, and Conrad's sister Sally to gather up all of the magic, put it back in the big red box, and then find and use the three pieces of the Crab Lock to seal up the box for good. Along the way, players will meet other classic Seuss characters like Thing 1 and Thing 2 and the talking pessimistic fish. The game also includes some characters created specifically for it. These characters are so well created, players won't know which ones are new and which appear in other Seuss books.

Many of these new characters are enemies players will overcome using the Cat's magical umbrella, which can make the characters float or be used to break through walls and capture enemies. Younger gamers of all ages will enjoy DR. SEUSS' THE CAT IN THE HAT and feel just like they've been pulled into the classic storybook.
