Internet capabilities were removed, as well as support for the Wii LAN Adapter. GameCube controller and memory card ports were removed, as well as the ability to play them. The Wii Mini only supports composite cables, and it cannot output 480p. The Wii Mini has a modified version of the Wii Channel Menu, with multiple menus from the settings removed as a result of the Wii Mini's missing features.

The new Wii mini offers up an unbelievable amount of fun. Included in the box is a Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuck controller. BIG FUN. Miniature price. The Wii mini console does not connect to the Internet and does not support online features in games.

Nintendo uses this console and the Nintendo Selects game series to promote low cost gaming. The Wii Mini is styled in matte black with a red border.

Wii mini is compatible with nearly 1400 Wii games including top franchises from Mario to Zelda.

PRODUCT Features

Striking Hardware - Bundle extras include matching red Wii Remote Plus controller, Nunchuk and Wii console hardware.
Intuitive Controls - Intuitive controls utilizing the physical motion of the Wii Remote Plus. Up to four Wii Remote Plus or standard Wii Remote controllers can be connected at once using wireless Bluetooth technology. The wireless signal can be detected within 10 meters of the console. Both the Wii Remotes and Nunchuk controllers include motion sensors. The Wii Remote Plus and Wii Remote controller also include a speaker, rumble feature and expansion port, and can be used as a pointer within five meters of the screen.
Wii Channels - The Wii Menu is the main gateway for a variety of easy-to-use, interactive multimedia, entertainment and communication functions.
Memory Expansion and Ports - The Wii console has 512 megabytes of internal flash memory,and one USB 2.0 port.
