When playing a Japanese game, your memory card will be re-formatted to Japanese game settings, overwriting any existing U.S. or European settings / any game saves stored on the card. We recommend you to use the seperate memory card for playing different region GameCube games.

How to use "Freeloader"
Despite using complex proprietary technology, GameCube FreeLoader couldn't be easier to use. Simply load up the Free Loader disc, then swap it with your imported game disc. That's all there is to it! In a few second your imported game will load. It works on NTSC-US systems, and you don't even need an PAL compatible TV set to play PAL games!
