Old-school-style overhead shooter Strike Force Hydra challenges you to survive eight multistage levels while battling 45 types of enemies.
Your hovership has a blaster, homing missiles, a thrust option for extra speed and the ability to jump out of the way of danger.
Although the graphics are very basic, they show a clear view of the action. The gameplay is also basic, but exciting and fun. A bonus minigame awaits if you can defeat the main adventure on the Hard setting. Note, however, that the game has no save feature, so you will always have to start from scratch after powering up.
