Kotobukiya's lineup of incredible Ani*Statues now takes you to the world of No Game No Life, a light novel series turned manga and anime that tells the story of two youths who transcend an online game world to enter a fantasy realm. The first statue coming from that saga is the female main character SHIRO!
A brilliant but anti-social girl who excels at gaming, Shiro looks stunning in her fantasy-influenced Ani*Statue presentation. The gamer perches on a miniature chess board table that's canted at an extreme angle, and she balances with her toes and the long swirls of her hair. Pondering her next move with a distant expression in her golden eyes, the girl reaches forward toward an unseen game with one hand and touches her face with the other.
Shiro wears a simple but highly detailed purple and white dress with blue stockings that nicely offsets the otherworldly gold crown on her head and the rainbow colors of her locks. Tiny details add to the chess theme including the piece in her hand and the pawns scattered around the chess board display base. Intricately sculpted by Shou Kojima, Shiro is just over 6 inches tall (1/7 scale) sitting on her unique chess base.
