World Heroes 2 (Super Nintendo) World Heroes 2 for Super Nintendo features characters that are inspired by historical figures of different eras and countries. New fighters include Captain Kidd, whose special moves take the form of surging sharks; Johnny Maximum, a bruising American football player who literally punts away his rivals; and Erik, a Viking who uses Thor's hammer to flatten foes. While the action is structured similarly to its predecessor, offering both tournament and death match styles of play, World Heroes 2 incorporates a few significant changes. Characters can now initiate reversals, deflect projectiles back at rivals, and optionally share one tug-of-war-style life bar with their opponent.
