The History of the Moogle:

The Moogle first appeared in Final Fantasy III, which was initially only released in Japan. It was first seen in America in Final Fantasy VI with the character Mog actually appearing on the cover of the SNES version. Since then, Moogles can be found 15 Final Fantasy games and the movie 'Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.' The Moogle is an extremely social creature and one of the most prominent species in the series, fulfilling many roles.
